Arrival & Departure

To ensure full treatment time, please arrive promptly at your allocated appointment time. A late arrival may mean that your treatment time is reduced or unable to be honoured. We politely urge guests to observe their departure time if shown on their confirmation. 

Please note all treatment times stated are inclusive of consultation time and homecare advice.

On arrival for a spa package, please check in at the spa reception desk. If you wish to book any more treatments on the day, we will do our very best to accommodate your request, but this may not always be possible. We do recommend booking in advance to avoid any disappointment.

We politely ask guests to please arrive quietly at the spa reception area, as there may be treatments taking place in the downstairs treatment rooms. Guests are also politely asked to be as quiet as possible throughout the course of your spa experience to ensure no other guests are disturbed during treatments. We also politely request that mobile phones are set to silent during your visit.

Please note for the respect and privacy of other guests, the spa facilities and quiet room are only available for the use of spa guests booked in on a spa package.

For health and safety and the consideration of other spa guests, children are not permitted at Akasha Wellbeing Spa Facilities.

For the comfort of guests and staff, we insist that swimwear is worn in the thermal suite. Nudity is not acceptable.

For the purposes of health, safety and hygiene, we request that all guests shower prior to using the thermal suite, and that the provided sarongs are used to sit on in both the sauna and steam room.

Hand sanitiser is available at the reception desk for all guests to use.

What to bring with you? 

We have a no outdoor shoes policy in the spa. Please ensure that you bring a pair of clean, quiet indoor shoes (such as slippers) to wear when walking around the spa. Remember to also bring your swimwear with you when using the thermal suite. 

In your locker, we provide you with a bath sheet, robe, and bag for your wet laundry.

Our changing rooms are equipped with hair dryers. 

Food & Drink

A picnic box style lunch or afternoon tea is included in some of our spa packages. Lunch can be enjoyed by guests in our quiet room or in the gazebo in our walled garden (weather permitting). This will be served at the time discussed upon booking and has a 30 minute allocation. We recommend that if you do have any special dietary requirements, or food allergies, to contact us prior to your arrival and we will be more than happy to accommodate these.

Herbal Tea and water is available in our quiet room and is complimentary.

Guests are not permitted to consume their own alcohol whilst on Akasha premises.

Medical Information

Before undertaking any treatment, all clients will be required to complete and sign a health questionnaire. If your treatment choice is unsuitable, an alternative may be offered.

Guests taking any prescribed medication who wish to use the hot tub and/or sauna and steam facilities should be aware that the spa heat can speed up the effects of the medication. The heat also speeds up the effect of any alcohol consumed.

Akasha wellbeing limited complies with the current habia standards. should you wish to have a patch test 24hrs prior to any treatment please contact our spa reception.

After your treatment, please ensure you follow any aftercare advice from your therapist.

Please ensure you tell us of any changes to your medical details.

If you are unsure about a condition, please seek medical advice before your visit.

Akasha cannot take any responsibility for any unknown allergies or reactions.

Other Terms & Conditions

There may be occasions when advertised services and facilities need to be withdrawn temporarily i.e. due to repair, cleaning, or adverse weather conditions. At Akasha, we reserve the right to make such alterations without prior notice and we are unable to accept any liability as a result thereof.

Mobile phones should be switched off whilst in and around the spa.

Akasha is not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal belongings.

For the comfort of all guests, smoking is not permitted on the premises.

May we politely remind guests that locker keys, towels and robes must be returned at the end of your time with us. Failure to do so will result in a £50 replacement fee.

Prices are correct at time of going to print and are subject to alteration without prior notice.
